So the latest winners in the Goodreads Giveaway are Maha from Egypt and Jenny from Denmark!! Woohoo, so glad you two won! The books were mailed December 20th. Thanks for entering and I truly hope you enjoy them. 🙂
There will be another Giveaway – my biggest one to date, starting January 1st, 2018. I thought it would be a fun way to kick off the New Year. Four different titles (7 copies) will be entered for your chance to win. I’m excited to try something new and this is the first time I’ve ever done this many books at once so here’s to hoping it turns out great. And as always, I hope you enter and I really hope you win!!
I don’t know about you all but I haven’t even thought about New Year’s resolutions yet, other than the thought of not knowing what I should aim for this go-around. There’s always the fitness and diet ones that always seem to turn up year after year but this time, rolling back around in my subconscious somewhere, is the thought of working on something more. And by something more I mean something that deep down will make a significant difference in my life with a multifaceted effect. Something simple but profound like focusing on happiness or more so – joy.
I like the idea that no matter what is going on in my life, good or not so, that I can attempt to bring my thoughts onto something that can accentuate the good or take the sting out of the bad. I know it seems simple, the thought of joy, but is it really? Is it so easy to find something, especially when things are dark, that will bring in a bit of happiness that lifts us when we feel so heavy? I don’t know for sure, but that is what I’m going to work on this year. I like the thought of it and I don’t know about you, but this past year for me has been on of my most sorrowful. It has changed my life forever and I don’t know if my heart will ever be complete again, but I do know that I need to try. So in the spirit of believing that God is there and that his way is best, I will choose joy this year. At least I’m going to try.
I hope you find your goals for the year and that this time, you reach for something that will change you. Not necessarily in the physical sense – although I know that is always rewarding as well, but something that changes you a little deeper down and that through that change, you find something beautiful: you in a way you’ve never seen you before!
So here’s to wishing you a deeply blessed New Year for 2018 and every year beyond that as well,
Wishing you the best,
